SBI PO 2018 Notification
SBI PO notification 2018 released for 2000 vacancy. Candidates can apply for the registration of SBI PO 2018 through the official website of State Bank of India. This year, the total number of vacancies announced in the official notification of SBI PO 2018 is 2118 from which 118 vacancies are reserved for PWD candidates. Except this, 38 backlog vacancies will also be filled in this recruitment. The preliminary exam will be held in the month of July this year. The recruitment process will be completed over by November 2018 as stated by State Bank of India in its official notification.

Steps to Fill the SBI PO Application Form 2018 Online
- Step 1. Visit the official link of SBI: www.sbi.co.in/careers/ongoing-recruitment.html for reaching directly (or) Visit, www.sbi.co.in and click on “career with us” & Select SBI PO Application form 2018.
- Step 2. Click on the New SBI Online Registration Button.
- Step 3. Enter all the required details correctly such as Your Name, Date of Birth (as mentioned in the 10th certificate), Contact Details like email id, etc.
- Step 4. Upload your latest scanned copy of the photograph (with the dimensions of 200*300 pixels) and signature(photo size should be not more than 50kb and signature not more than 20kb) (Signature should be done on the white paper with black ink pen).
- Step 5. A provisional Registration Number and Password will be sent to your mobile number and email id (Please enter the correct details because all the necessary information will be provided in these contacts medium by the bank).
- Step 6. Now fill the detailed application where you have to fill all the required details like Category, Educational Qualifications, Identity Card detail and all.
- Step 7. Next, pay the application fee (Rs.600/-) through Debit card/Credit card/Net banking, unless your application form will be incomplete.

SBI PO 2018 Exam Dates
SBI PO exam date 2018: The SBI PO 2018 exam will be held in three phases i.e. in Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Group Exercise & Interview. Preliminary Exam will be held on 1st, 7th & 8th July 2018 (tentative) while the Mains Online Examination will be held on 4th August 2018 (tentative). In the last phase, Group Exercise & Interview will be conducted on 24th September 2018 to 12th October 2018 (tentative).

In the Preliminary Exam, all the questions will be of objective type while in Main Examination, all questions will also be of objective type (excluding the Essay & Letter Writing Part).

SBI PO Admit Card 2018 download: SBI Admit card or call letter is the most important thing which you should carry inside your examination hall during the examination. SBI PO Result 2018: The state bank of India will announce SBI PO 2018 results in 3 phases for all the selected candidates by the bank. The result of SBI PO prelims, Mains and Group Exercise and Final Interview round to be published as per the schedule provided by the bank.

The result of SBI PO 2018 Preliminary Examination will be announced on 17th May 2018 (Tentative) while the result of SBI PO 2018 Main Examination will be announced on 19th June 2018 (Tentative). The final result of SBI PO 2018 for selected candidates will be announced in the First Week of August 2018 (Tentative).
To get the selection in next phase, candidates must have to pass in the previous Phase of examination. To appear in the Main Examination candidate must have to pass in the prelims and to appear in the Group Exercise & Interview, candidates must have to pass the Main Examination.
Moreover, candidates must have to obtain minimum marks in the aggregate and these marks usually vary from General to Reserved Category Candidates (OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Ex. Servicemen). Educational Qualification (As on 31st Aug 2018):
The applicants must have Bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized university or equivalent. The desired candidates who are appearing in the final year can also apply. Final year students will have to render their provisional marks sheet provided by the university during the Interview.
Candidates those have Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2018. Candidates those posses qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply for this post. The candidate should’ve had English as one of his subjects in his graduation/Intermediate or HSC as well.
Indian Citizen or A subject of Nepal or A subject of Bhutan or A Refugee of Tibet or Migrant from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India can also apply for the SBI PO 2018.
SBI PO 2018 Exam Syllabus
SBI PO Syllabus 2018: SBI PO exam comprises of 3 phases i.e. Prelims, and Mains Examination and Group Exercise & Interview. To reach the next stage, it is necessary to pass every previous stage. SBI usually issues the syllabus during its official notification and the syllabus is same as given in the previous years’ exams of SBI PO.

The Prelims Exam is divided into 3 sections i.e. English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. The English Language is further subdivided into Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Paragraph Completion, Miscellaneous, and Error Spotting/Correction. The English Section contains the 30 questions (30 Marks).
In Reasoning, the questions will be asked on its various topics such as Logical Reasoning, Inequalities, Alphanumeric Series, Number Series, Coding, and Decoding, Blood Relations, Input, and Output, Direction Sence Test, Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Tabulation, and Puzzles. This section contains the 35 questions (35 Marks).
While in Quant Section there will be 35 questions (35 Marks) will be asked. This section will cover the topics Simplification, Mixtures & Allegations, Profit & Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Time & Work, Distance & Time, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Mensuration (Cylinder, Cone, and Sphere), Number System, Sequence, and Series, Probability, Permutation & Combination, and Data Interpretation.

The Mains Examination comprises of 4 sections i.e. Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, General/Economy/ Banking Awareness.
This paper contains the 155 total number of questions of 200 Marks and the candidate will get 3 hours for solving this paper (each section has the different timing).
From Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude, there will be 45 questions (60 Marks), from General/Economy/ Banking Awareness, there will be 40 questions (40 Marks), Data Analysis & Interpretation will have the 35 questions (60 Marks), while the English Section will contain the 35 questions (40 Marks).
The penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will also be the penalty in both the Prelims and Mains Examination when the candidate will opt out a wrong answer. There will be a deduction of the 1/4th marks (0.25 Marks) on selecting of every wrong answer. There will not be any deduction of the mark if the question has not been answered.
Phase 3: Group Exercise and Interview:
The final phase is the Group Exercise and Interview that contains 50 marks. This is a qualified stage that must be passed by the candidate after reaching the cut-off determined by the bank. These marks will be included in the marks of mains exam to count out the total score obtained by the candidate.
